Quick Frozen BV was founded in 2006 by André van der Reest and Richard de Moor as an independent service provider, which leaves the sales and trade to others but which is happy to focus on processing those products. Our company moved into a building at Texelstroom on Urk and we continue to operate from this address today, in 2020.
Following steady growth, the business was expanded in 2008 with a brand-new loading bay as well as a frozen storage facility with room for 2,250 pallets.
The business continued to expand until 2012. In this year, there was very little influx of fresh products to be processed, prompting André and Richard to seek out other possibilities.
In 2014, this situation sparked a decision to expand the cutting line. Instead of only chunks for frying, they were now able to cut blocks into straight-edged shapes of any size.
This decision turned out to be a good one, as we purchased a new cutting line in 2018.
In 2020 is onze 2e vestiging aan de Abbert 20 geopend. Deze vestiging heeft een diepvries opslag van 4600 pallet plekken en een productie ruimte die aan de nieuwste eisen voldoet.
De diepviesproductie is in het geheel verplaatst, waaronder onze 2 automatische zaaglijnen, sorteer- en ompaklijn.

In 2022 is onze oude glaceerlijn vervangen door een nieuwe vrieslijn. Deze vrieslijn is achter onze bestaande lijn geplaatst.
Door het verwijderen van de glaceerlijn is er ruimte vrij gekomen voor nieuwe innovaties. Wij hebben gekozen voor horizontale- en verticale blokvriezers om onze klanten nog beter van dienst te kunnen zijn.
In 2024 is onze zaagafdeling uitgebreid met een vormmachine. Wij kunnen nu naast de vierhoekige blokjes op de zaagmachine ook alle denkbare vormen maken.
Nu in 2025 kunnen wij de klanten nog beter en sneller van dienst zijn door de grote mogelijkheden die Quick Frozen te bieden heeft.
